It’s National Engineers Week – and that’s a perfect opportunity for us to tell you a bit about our engineers and how they can help you.

Our electrical engineers are qualified to carry out all electrical work in your home, from the simplest faulty light fix to a total rewire. Our team can also inspect and test all the electrical installations in your home to ensure they are safe. If you’re a landlord this is a legal requirement: it must be done every five years and your electrician should give you an EICR (electrical installation condition report) as evidence of the check. An EICR can only be issued by a registered electrician.
Our Gas Safe registered engineers are qualified to carry out vital safety checks on gas appliances – and this needs to be done regularly to protect your family from threats such as explosion or carbon monoxide poisoning. If you’re a landlord, it’s a legal requirement to get these done every year.
Besides ensuring safety, a gas engineer can help ensure your gas appliances are running as efficiently as possible, saving you money and helping to keep your house warmer. Regular servicing also prolongs the life of your boiler – so there are many good reasons to book an annual visit
