ADS Limited: your trusted local service provider

ADS your trusted local service provider

We’re proud to deliver first class domestic building heating, plumbing, mechanical and electrical services across Wales – and to be deeply involved in the communities we serve. Read on to find out more.

When our founder Andrew D’Auria set up Andrew D’Auria Solutions (ADS) in 2010, his aim was to deliver comprehensive building, heating, plumbing, mechanical and electrical services across Swansea. We’ve grown since then to cover the whole of Wales, but we still pride ourselves on delivering a personable, local service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Andrew left school at 15 before taking his GCSEs and has celebrated many ground breaking contracts, it comes more that 20 years after starting out as a one-man band in the business with just an apprentice for support.

The continued rise of ADS represents a far cry from where he found himself at the start of his career.

“I left school when I was 15 and didn’t do any GCSEs because I was fortunate that the father of a girl I was in school with, who lived by me, took me on as an apprentice and then is when the plumbing career started”

The business started out as AD Gas Services then in 2010 formed a limited company, Andrew D’Auria Solutions Limited (ADS)

We offer a total solution to all your building problems: you can come to us for everything from boiler servicing to electrical rewiring. We’re equally happy fitting a new kitchen or installing a ground source heat pump. We offer building services too, we can take on extension and new build projects, as well as tackling renovations, rebuilds and repairs.

Having a team with so many different specialist skills means that you can place a whole job in our hands, rather than having to coordinate different tradespeople yourself. Expect a friendly, joined up service from a tidy, efficient team.

Looking after the customers and communities we serve is our top priority. Our success at doing this was recently recognised in the Community Awards held at the ICC Birmingham by Aico, the European market leader in home life safety.

The awards recognise excellence within social housing and the local community, and we won Electrical Contractor of the Year for our “proactive approach to service delivery from inception to completion, going the extra mile to ensure good customer service.”

ADS community awards

It means a lot to us to win an award that recognises community focus. With headquarters in Landore, Swansea, a second office in Cwmbran, and a new office coming to Haverfordwest soon, we’re at the heart of the communities we serve. We love championing good causes and doing our bit to help communities thrive.

For example, we teamed up with Gwyrosydd Primary School in Swansea to help support their fundraising challenge, which was to see how many collective triathlons they could complete in the last three weeks of term. This was to raise funds for a local Swansea Athlete who has been diagnosed with life changing injuries.

We helped Gwyrosydd Primary School towards hitting their target with the support of our Swift Avatar bikes linked to an interactive screen. We’ve been delighted to take part in this fundraising effort – Team Gwyrosdd have achieved so much so far and are ready to push themselves to rise to the challenge and collect as many miles as possible.

Also on the sporting front, an ADS team successfully completed the Carten100 2022 bike ride earlier this year, and we sponsor many football teams such as Sandfields FC, Swansea School Boys FA and many more – we love seeing the ADS name on their shirts.

Another community initiative close to our hearts is the Pobl Group Trust’s 50 Families Campaign initiative, to which we donate presents for needy families. We donated £500 worth of presents for the Christmas 2022 campaign, helping to support children at Christmas. Every family is different, but most will experience challenges and difficulties at some point, more so in the aftermath of the past 18 months. Pobl Trust’s Christmas initiative raises money to support 50- families facing severe hardship and exceptional pressure, and we’re proud to be playing a part. If you’d like to help too, you can donate here.

We’re aware of the financial challenges faced by many people at present due to the cost-of-living crisis and energy price hikes. With that in mind, we recently offered a chance to win a free £3,000 boiler as part of our ‘Home is Where the Warmth is’ campaign, which highlights the important role heating plays in making a house a home.

The winner gave us a great testimonial, saying: “I was very impressed with the ADS staff who fitted the boiler. They kept me fully informed throughout and did a very professional job, leaving the house spotless afterwards.

“The new modern Worcester boiler has made a big difference as it is very efficient and a lot quieter than my old one!

“I would definitely recommend ADS for their high level of service and expertise of staff. I’d like to thank Andrew and his team for the very generous competition prize and wish them success in future.”

We’ve taken part in many other initiatives, including supporting the “Everyone Deserves a Christmas 2021” campaign, in which we worked with
Carolyn Harris MP, Julie James MS, Swansea City AFC Foundation, Ospreys in the Community and many other businesses and organisations across to provide festive cheer to those who require an extra helping hand in the local community. It meant a lot to us to be involved in this and we aim to do similar work in the future.

Being at the heart of our community enables us to take part in a range of partnership community action initiatives, such as community campaigns to plant trees, build a greenhouse or carry out rewiring work.

We also work collaboratively within the community, teaming up with schemes that support older people, helping with tree planting, and undertaking other initiatives such as donating a BBQ for community gatherings.

Through our community work we aim to build stronger, happier communities – to combat poverty and other hardships and to find ways to use our teams’ skills to make a positive difference. We may not be a nationwide firm, but we’ll always be your local service provider.

We care about the communities we serve and want to make them the best they can be.
